With optimized manganese dioxide coating process and porous composite carrier structure, our filter media delivers equivalent or even better Fe & Mn removal efficiency, longer service life and lower operation cost than original Katalox media, ideal for groundwater, well water, domestic water and industrial wastewater purification.

Different from ordinary physical adsorption filter media, our iron manganese removal granules adopt integrated catalytic oxidation + physical interception + adsorption coprecipitation triple working mechanism, no extra aeration system or chemical oxidant required normally:
1. Catalytic Oxidation: High-purity gamma manganese dioxide coated on media surface acts as permanent catalyst, rapidly oxidize dissolved divalent iron and divalent manganese in raw water into insoluble iron oxide and manganese oxide sediment at normal water temperature;
2. Physical Interception: Internal porous mesh structure with large specific surface area intercept oxidized metal particles, suspended solids and water turbidity effectively;

3. Adsorption & Regeneration: Self-adsorb residual heavy metal ions, realize automatic catalytic regeneration during backwashing, no frequent chemical activation needed.
